Siiri Kaijansinkko (born 2002) began studying the violin at the age of 6 at the Pohjois-Kymi Music Institute. Her main instrument changed from violin to viola while studying at the Lappeenranta Music Institute with Marjukka Pola. In 2020, Kaijansinkko continued her studies at the Lahti Conservatory under Juhani Palola, completing a basic music degree in 2023.
In the fall of 2022, Kaijansinkko continued her studies in Helsinki at Metropolia University of Applied Sciences, first with Pirkko Simojoki and later with Annariina Jokela. She is currently studying at the Sibelius Academy of the University of the Arts Helsinki in Annariina Jokela’s class. She has been a member of the String Academy since the fall of 2023. Kaijansinkko has further developed her skills through several masterclasses, including with Tommi Aalto, Jakob Dingstad, and Antonello Farulli.
Kaijansinkko has played in a variety of chamber music ensembles and orchestras, such as the Symphony Orchestra Vivo. She has gained solo experience performing with the Lappeenranta City Orchestra and the Young Soloists concert of Sinfonia Lahti.
