Kaisa Setälä (born 2007) began playing the viola at the age of 8 at the Meri-Lappi Music Institute under the guidance of Karri Perälä. She is currently taught by Weronika Skowrońska. Kaisa was selected to join the Viola Academy at the end of 2023.
Ingrid Odé (born 2003) is a violist from Helsinki. She studies at the Sibelius Academy under Annariina Jokela and Atte Kilpeläinen. Previously, she studied with Nils Mönkemeyer. From 2018 to 2022, Ingrid studied viola and violin at the Sibelius Academy Youth Program, with Lilli Maijala and Päivyt Meller as her teachers. In the spring of 2024, Ingrid will begin exchange studies at the Zurich University of the Arts.
Emilia Lappalainen (born 2006 in Haapajärvi) is studying viola under Annariina Jokela and violin under Päivyt Meller at the youth program of the Sibelius Academy, University of the Arts Helsinki. At the Viola Academy, Emilia receives instruction from Anna-Kreetta Gribajcevic and Lilli Maijala. She also studies violin at the Oulu Conservatory under Maarit Karppinen. Emilia began studying violin at the age of 5 at the Jokilaakso Music Institute, where her teachers were Tomasz Orzech and Janne Jääskelä.
Martta Kunnola (born 2005) is studying at the Munich University of Music and Performing Arts in Nils Mönkemeyer’s class. Previously, she studied at the youth department of the Sibelius Academy under Annariina Jokela, Lilli Maijala, and Teemu Kupiainen. Martta began her music studies at the age of 5 in her hometown of Kaarina, after which she continued at the Helsinki Conservatory under Janne Malmivaara.
